Watch this video. Tell me what you think of this ladies story, how you can avoid this from happening to you and what do you want to be when you get older. Answer responsibly.
I think that when they lose their jobs the companies just fire them to save the company from falling apart. By going to college and become a musician because they can take music away.
I feel really bad for this woman. I mean I could never imagine if I had worked for a company for so long and then being layed off. Thats a horrible thought, and THEN imagine being kicked out of your home! She could have been in a homeless shelter. But luckily she had a good friend in her neighbor. To keep this from happening to me, I don't know what I could possibly do. You can be the best worker, or work as hard as u can but still be the first one layed off.
When I grow up, I want to be a teacher. I like helping others and I think that would be good for me. Atleast if I don't become a teacher, I'd love to work for a tutoring company where I can still help kids.
that is so sad. she worked happily for this company for ten years and they just fired her. now she has no insurance, no house to call her own, and she is unemployed. thankfully she has a good neighbor. I don't think there is a way to prevent it. You can be the best worker ever and still get fired.
I want to be a vet when I get older, I love animals! i want to help them and save them. It will take time but thats ok with me. i would also like to be an inventor. I want to make stuff to make lives easier and make it "green" too.
That is sad. I mean, she's around 56, and she was fired. To top onto that, landlord kicked her out, health insurance gone, and car broke down. I fell sad for this woman. When I grow up, there would be no way to espace this. I hope that doesn't happen to me.
Awww that's real sad.I feel bad for her and anyone else who is struggling that way.I'm definatley staying in school and I'm going to work real hard on getting good grades.I'm not sure what I want to be when I get older but I'm going to finish college and go on from there I guess. But I know I don't want to end up like her.
I feel bad for her because so many bad things are hapening to her at the same time. If you go to college and get a job at a place where there can no t be too many people working then you will probably have less of a chance at getting laid off.
This poor ladie. She is nearly homeless. She has a kind neighbor. What I would do to avoid this would be to get a job that I like and can do for a lifetime from the start.Ok what I want to do when I grow up is get a volleyball scholarship and go volleyball career and if that doesn't work out I want to do a message career. Finally if that doesn't work out I will just be a mom and let my husband work.
I think its the company fault. The are more that likly firing her because the need the money.I want to go to college for two jobs.I want to be a Vet or a Chef.So I will have more of a chance at getting a job

When I grow up, there would be no way to espace this. I hope that doesn't happen to me.

It is verry sad. My aunt and uncle worked for the same company and they were laid off on the same day.
